Frequently Asked Questions
-
How does the CC Analyzer store information and for how long is it stored?
The CC Analyzer uses Microsoft's FoxPro relational database software for reporting. The length of time reports may be stored is a function of hard drive capacity. At a minimum, we use a 20 gigabyte drive, which provides for over ten years of storage.
-
Is it possible to change column headings on your reports?
Yes, we encourage customization of reports to fit your company's information requirements. Chadbourn Marcath performs the programming, for a small fee, in order to maintain the integrity of the reports. Changes and additional custom reports are properly documented, then integrated into the routine reports.
-
What if I want to see a statistic that's on my switch ACD reports but not on CC Analyzer reports?
This is no problem. We store all the information from the switch reports, even though we may not use all of these statistics to produce our CC Analyzer reports. (Note that there are often conflicting statistics between the switch's different ACD reports.) With our complete capture of the switch database, we can modify our reports to accommodate any of your reporting needs. And with our consultant's knowledge of the basis for the statistics, we'll make sure that you're getting the right statistics.
-
Is it possible to transfer historical ACD data from my existing ACD reports to your reporting package?
Generally, we don't offer this service. In the past we have been contracted to analyze the historical data and enter summary statistics into our database. We find that much is lost in the translation. Since our reports offer a unique framework for analysis, we suggest you start fresh and work with the complete package that we offer.
-
What happens when the printer jams?
Since the information is stored in a relational database, the system administrator may request a reprint of the automated reports for the time period that they were lost. This option is available anytime.
